Ik ben natuurlijk niet de juiste doelgroep voor dit boek, maar zelfs voor de beoogde groep is dit verhaal wel heel er g gezocht.
Meisje vlucht bibliotheek binnen om te ontsnappen aan pestkoppen, vindt een boek over magie, en na het lezen hiervan weet ze plots alles over het gebruiken van magie en is ze een tovenares.
Samen met Kit, die ook toevallig het boek heeft gelezen, probeert ze de pestkoppen te stoppen.
